Light + Life

It was the sunroom of my childhood home and a tender memory of sitting with my dad that God used to birth this year’s calendar. . The image of this moment continued to replay in my head for weeks as I imagined the light pouring through the windows and the simplicity of life that was present. He passed away 3 years ago and God used the absence of these moments to remind me of His nature in Light and Life. A simple moment filled with both. As I turned to Scripture, I was reminded He is light in the darkness, He grants us life, His Word brings light and understanding, He is the fountain of life, and through Him we are given the privilege of being light to others. As I sat to create, I knew I wanted the design elements to point to these truths as well. The flowers remind us of life and the shadow from each arrangement shows the evidence of light. May our walk reflect the same this year. He is and gives Light + Life. To Him be the Glory.

The 2023 calendar is hand illustrated and professionally printed on watercolor paper. Every month has a unique design and encouragement from Scripture. Each 12-month calendar is printed with designs on front and back and comes packaged using the little cloth bag pictured. There are a variety of bag colors that will be sent out at random.

Each calendar is 4x5.5 in size.
